The John Means Adult Instructional School focuses on improving both your golf mechanics and mental approach. The program tailors its coaching to each player’s unique strengths, recognizing that no two golfers are the same.

Sessions are personalized, covering every part of your game, including driving, iron play, and putting. John’s commitment to your growth ensures both improvement and personal satisfaction.

The weekend schedule includes video swing analysis and comprehensive instruction: Friday from 12-4, Saturday 8:30-4, and Sunday 8:30-12, with guaranteed progress.

John Means Junior Golf Camps have been the top-ranked program in the Midwest for a decade, dedicated to improving golfers from beginners to aspiring college players. Campers receive personal attention from elite instructors, with daily learning experiences on one of the region’s finest golf courses.

Participants can expect comprehensive instruction, skill contests, and guest lectures covering rules, etiquette, and course care. Each camper will also get a swing analysis and is encouraged to continue working on their skills after camp ends, creating lasting memories along the way.

The camps are designed for boys and girls ages 8-18, offering separate tracks for beginners and advanced players. Located at White Eagle Golf Club in Hudson, WI, and Heritage Links Golf Course in Lakeville, MN, the camps provide lodging, meals, and a supportive environment to enhance their game and foster a love for golf.

The Coach Means Golf Academy of Champions boasts a remarkable 100% placement rate for students pursuing college golf and has produced 18 State High School Champions. Unlike many golf academies, the Academy limits enrollment to just eight players, ensuring that each participant receives personalized attention and focused coaching tailored to their needs.

Coach Means takes a hands-on approach, accompanying players to tournaments and, in some cases, serving as their caddy. He works closely with each player to develop a competitive schedule and personally contacts college coaches to create opportunities for participation in key tournaments. This level of support significantly enhances players’ visibility and readiness for collegiate competition.

With a background that includes serving as President of the Golf Coaches Association of America, Coach Means has established connections with top college coaches nationwide. He evaluates each golfer’s abilities and goals, aligning them with suitable colleges and universities to create a customized development plan that helps them reach their aspirations in the sport.
